Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

The Nirva Project (“Nirva,” “we,” “us”) provides personalised health, fitness and lifestyle coaching. This policy explains what personal information we collect through nirvaproject.com and our coaching services, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or our services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you write to us.
  • Consultation bookings: when you book a free consultation through our scheduling tool (Cal.com), we receive your name, email address, and any details you provide at booking.
  • Coaching plans and payments: when you subscribe to a plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, email, billing address and card details directly. We never see or store your full card number ourselves — Stripe shares with us only what we need to manage your subscription and provide your coaching service (your name, email, and subscription status).
  • Health and lifestyle information: as part of onboarding and ongoing coaching, you may share health, fitness, dietary or lifestyle information with your coach so your program can be personalised. This is used solely to deliver your coaching and is not sold or shared for marketing purposes.
  • Newsletter sign-up: if you subscribe via the footer, we collect your email address to send occasional coaching tips and updates.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to enquiries and consultation requests
  • Deliver, personalise and manage your training and nutrition coaching
  • Process payments, send receipts and invoices, and manage subscriptions
  • Send service-related communications, such as booking confirmations
  • Send coaching tips or updates you've opted in to receive
  • Maintain the security and proper functioning of our services

Third-party service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to run parts of our service. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

Cookies

Our site itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. However, embedded third-party features — the Stripe checkout page and the Cal.com booking widget — may set their own cookies when you interact with them, governed by their respective privacy policies linked above.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, respond to you, and meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations (including records required for payments and invoices). You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain — see “Your rights” below.

Your rights

Under Australia's Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion where we're not required to keep it. To exercise any of these rights, email team@thenirvaproject.com.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and our payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant provider. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
